Oromian athletes, from Abebe Bikila to Derartu Tulu to Kenenisa Bekele to
Fatuma Roba to countless other elite runners, have dominated the long-distance athletics
competitions at the Olympic Games and other major international races of the last half century. Let's all celebrate the achievements of Oromian
athletes wherever they compete, whenever they compete and for whomever they
compete. Support Oromian athletes from the sidelines of the athletics
competitions by waving Oromian national flags and singing Oromo patriotic
melodies to motivate them for great results.
