   Please can you change the date of Irrechaa from Sep11 to any other day? Most of the time Irrechaa is celebrated after Masqaalaa. My reason is the celebration of Irreechaa contradict the 9/11

   Ayyaanni Irreechaa kan bara 2011 Minneapolisitti yaalame, September 11 ayyaana habashoota waliin wal irra ooluun dogoggora natti fakkaata. Ayyaana kana keessas gala jiranii jarri moo, maa’inni?? Ayyaanni kun ummata keenya aduunyaaf Octobara 1 ta’uun ni beekama Maaltu as butee Sep. 11 taasise Minneapolisiif !?

   I am concor the idea of changing the date of Irreechaa @ Minneapollis which will be on the date of 9/11 and it might arise some contradictions. We have so many days and ways to do it. Pls rethink on it and plan afresh for multi-lateral sake.

   Celebrating Irreechaa on the intended day of 9/11 has a great negative impact!! The organizing committee needs to rethink and respond to the fear of most of us!! Silaa Oromoon walii isaa dhaggeeffachuu dhiisee jira; haa ta’uu waa’een guyyaa kanaa wal nu gaafachiisuun hin hafu!! Beekaa dhimma dhoksaaf ta’e yoo ta’e koreen waan kana qindeesse fi guyyaa kanas murteesse ummatni gaafachuu dha qaba!! Dhimmichi kan uummataa waan ta’eef checha!

   Hi,
   yes obbo Bay’isaa You are correct!!! the organizing committee should rethink and respond right away why they change the day of Ireechaa. This is not some thing just one can change it has a historical background why day of Ireecha is day of ireecha. This is not a day some one changes it as he want, it is the property of the oromo people. So this thing need urgent response from the organizing committee. If not the public should urge them to do so, or take his own action. His action not celebrate on 9/11 and celebrate on the right ireecha day.
