This summer, the International Oromo Youth Association (IOYA) will be hosting the 2012 Oromo Youth Leadership Conference (OYLC), themed “Team Oromia: Utilizing Creativity and Leadership in the Age of New Media.” It will be centered on building and exhibiting leadership and advocacy skills through a social media video project. Featured guest speakers: Prof. Ezekiel Gebissa, and advocacy and policy expert Semhar Araia.
